"A classic --something that everybody wants to have read and nobody wants to read."
Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)

Introduction
Qwik Reader is a utility that helps you read large volumes of text easily by scrolling it for you.

How many books are on you bookshelf that you want to read?

How many have you gotten into a few chapters and then put down only to never pick it up again?

How many hours do you have in reading to be done?

How many?

This program can help you cut down those numbers, at least with the books that are available online, such as the many classics that are available in Project Gutenberg and some publishers have started releasing plain text versions of their out of print books. Take a look around, you might be surprised.

With this program the text is scrolled for you, so you don't have to move your eyes. It's the ultimate feed of the information you crave.

All without any speed reading skills needed. In fact this program will help you build some of the skills used in conventional speed reading and the speed is fully adjustable so you can read at your own pace.

Speaking of pace, not only do you read faster with this program but it helps you tremendously in maintaining a steady pace. You'll be finishing books in hours rather than days.

Features
* The text scrolls for you, since you don't have to move your eyes. So it's the ultimate in laziness and is also one of the major speed limits of speed reading.

* You'll be able to read a book in a few hours rather than a few days.

* Adjustable scrolling speed to suit your reading skills.

* Qwik Reader saves file positions and automatically reloads them from the registry. No need to remember where you were.

* It's tipware, which means it's free to use without obligation, but if you like the program please visit the web site QwikReader.com and leave me a tip. It will encourage me to develop this program more and you will be able to vote for your favorite new feature to be implemented.

How to use
Simply run the program then open up your favorite book. You can also drag the book to the icon on your desktop and it will be automatically opened. Once you have it open just tap the space bar to start and stop the scrolling of the text.

You man need to play with the speed settings a bit before you find a nice pace for yourself.

Where to find books
http://www.gutenberg.net/
Project Gutenberg is a project that has scanned several thousand classic books that have expired copyrights.

http://www.bearshare.com/
Many books can also be found on the gnutella network which can be accessed easily via bearshare.

Tool tips on the icon bar aren't coming up for some weird reason
